We met in the morning. Sarah told me about her busy schedule, rehearsals at Carré and the publication of her debut novel. I got my camera ready while Sarah undressed and wrapped the white cloth I had brought around her shoulders. We took pictures and talked for almost two hours. It was a quiet and calm morning, almost unrecognizable as Amsterdam. "I hope the pictures will look like Renaissance paintings," Sarah said.
