Dit voorjaar deed het Stadsarchief weer een oproep aan fotografen om voorstellen in te dienen voor documentaireprojecten. De mooiste voorstellen om de stad, de bewoners en stedelijke fenomenen op artistiek niveau vast te leggen worden gefinancierd. Drie voorstellen zijn gehonoreerd met een opdracht.
Prins de Vos brengt in deze foto-opdracht de levendige Amsterdamse queer-gemeenschap in beeld. Deze groep is kleurrijk, groeiende en eindeloos divers. Prins de Vos legt in zijn serie een dwarsdoorsnede van de Amsterdamse queerscene vast: van de slaapkamer tot de club.
